Fine wool makes shiny carpets

Did you know that the wool that grows on a sheep's neck and belly is called kork wool? It is used when making more exclusive carpets. Generations of experience has shown that the finest wool is gathered from the sheep that are sheared in the autumn. The higher a sheep ventures up the mountains the better the wool actually becomes.

Due to the high altitude at which these animals graze, the amount of fat increases and in turn makes the wool shinier and glossier. The end result is a pristine piece of art that you can lay on your floor.
