The carpets were delivered to my door very quickly, sturdily packed and in excellent condition. The colours are a perfect match for the photos, the wool of the Handloom carpets seems high-quality, silky and soft. Communication with the knowledgeable and polite CarpetVista staff was a pleasure. The whole experience of shopping on line with Carpet Vista, choosing, getting detailed information, and finally ordering and receiving is probably the least frustrating computer ordeal ever. I have made several purchases over the last few years and always feel that I am treated as an individual. An unusual experience in todays global market place.

This was our first carpet buy (well, first persian), first a bit hesitant to that much money, but well worth it. Very happy, thanks.
Oh, one more thing. Since this is a new carpet, it has a little -according to my girlfriend- smelly socks smell. I'd say it is a shepy-woolly smell. Is it going to fade away by the time, or is there anything we can do to make it go away somehow?

Reply from CarpetVista : It is quite natural that a new carpet can have a bit of an odor when it is first laid on the floor. This is from the natural materials used in the production of these handmade items and it should fade quickly and then disappear after it has a little time to air out. I would like to return the carpet if it was more simple way, as i am not sure that I can pack the carpet on its original way. I intended to buy more arpets with you, but this experience prevents me from the purchase.
