Well organized site where it was easy to find what we expected.
Efficient shipment.
But real colour of the carpet does not exactly look like the picture.

CarpetVista have a superb selection of rugs.
The dimensions and clear pictures make shopping easy as you can chose a rug while sitting at home close to the spot where you plan to place it.
I really liked the background information on different types of rugs too - it is nice to understand a little about the rug's environment!

Buying a carpet from you was, apart from the aforementioned experience with the courier.... good . The only comment that might be helpful to you is: to inform clients that the colours of the carpets change depending on the direction of the light. I am very pleased with the carpets and think they all look stunning.

I am sorry but i must return with some observations because I think it is something abnormal with your carpet contest...I say again...your jury choosed models similar to last contest. In this contest Viktor Hertz of Sweden posted a model named Bar code witch is similar with the carpet Bars Code in your gallery of modern carpets, Teresa Jimenez posted the model Retrospect, similar with Piedras on your site, Nancy Bladfalt created Cybil witch is similar with Summer meadow, Kicki Edgren posted Elephants similar to Jungle in your site, Victoria Martinez posted Selva witch is like Tiger puzzle...dear fellows, you have a big, big problem with your jury, every year picks the same models, so the next year i will design two stripes of three colour and i will participate to your contest. It is simple for anybody...Anybody can look the finalists of every year and draw something similar. You must create different categories in your contest because the mix with the children room models is ridiculous. I cant compare or vote so different carpets with so different destination. If you want to judge in the right way you must post all the entries and you must present your jury. Sincerly and i am sorry to say that but your jury has no idea about carpet design. The proof is the models of the last contest witch are ugly and nobody buy them. The models with stripes, squares, dots or circles are not...models...because a m

Reply from CarpetVista : We are sorry you feel this way and everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Although it is possible there is are some similar designs, we select designs based on many factors. Some designs may look very beautiful, but one has to also look at the practicality when it come to weaving and manufacturing of the carpet. We cannot also post all the entries since we received thousands of entries and we can only just select a few of them.

At the INTERNATIONAL contest of modern carpet organized by CarpetVista I have send a lot of designs, but found that Romania is not part of the list of participating countries.
Why?

When the jury pick the winning designs they have no knowledge or information regarding the country or designer behind the creations. Their judgements are as such solely based on the artistic talent, the potential popularity of the design and the realistic possibility of actually producing the design on a handmade carpet. We sincerely hope that you and your fellow nationals will compete again next year and hopefully someone will be selected and presented in the Design Gallery. With such a high number of talented participants it is not an easy task narrowing down the list and selecting the finalists!

The carpet is absoluteley beautiful! the colours are really vibrant. It is fantastic quality and I would not hestitate in ordering another or recommending to my friends and family. The carpet arrived very quickly and arrived well wrapped and in perfect condition. I just wish I had a bigger house to buy more. The service was perfect.

I have a little question...I admire your products and i want to vote the models on your contest but i was realy disapointed...it was a carpet contest for childs room? I dont think that you cant find a modern model in 7000 entries..it is unbelievable! I saw childish design with stripes, dots, squares, wild animals!!! What is that? Who like these models for their livings or bedrooms? And some models are similar to the concepts who get the prizes last year...dont you see? You are a comercial organization and i think you want to sale your products, not to put them on stock...

The designs that the jury selected are based on artistic talent, the potential popularity of the design and the realistic possibility of actually producing it on a handmade carpet. With a number of design competitions behind us and sound experience in the field we trust that the jury are well aware of what to base their opinions on. We are indeed planning on selling the produced carpets and if we can judge from past experience we will be sold out in a few months and need to consider reproducing certain designs that prove to be extremely popular. Some of the designs are obviously intended for children's rooms, but others would most certainly go well in a living room, a kitchen or even an office. The designs are more often than not timeless and will provide our customers with beautiful and original pieces of art to decorate their floors with.
