Hi! I am wondering are those natural coloured Afghan carpets really greenish? They seem a bit greenish in the pictures, or are they brown/grey as you would think of natural wool colour?

They tend to appear more earth brown than green. Reply from CarpetVista : Hello Gergely. When we did the final selection we did not choose all color variations of the designs submitted. Some colours are better than others when it comes to the finished carpets since natural dyes are used in the manufacturing. Regards CarpetVista Team

I am about to buy a carpet from your web site but I am little worried about transportation and package. Can you tell me how are the carpets protected and packed during the shipment? Thanks a lot in advance.

Reply from CarpetVista : Thank you for your interest in our carpets. The first step is to fold the carpet and then there are straps going around the carpet to hold it in place. Then the carpets are packaged in thick plastic and then well concealed with straps and strong tape. The carpet has to be completely sealed so the carpet is not exposed to water or humidity which can damage the carpet. I hope this answers your question! I cannot believe that it arrived in three days (in Italy); is the exact colors that were shown, and is a great quality carpet. I would recommend this service (and already have) to anyone. Hellow from Salonika Greece. I was looking for a long time to all Salonika carpet stores for a ziegler carpet whith certain dimention (square) and certain colours. I was disaponted because I've been told that such carpet doesent exist. I was very hapy when I discovered at your site the perfect for me carpet. But I hesitated because I was not sure if the colours were true (who can tell by a photo). Finally I ordered the carpet and thanks to CARPETVISTA and UPS I recieved my ziegler carpet at the expected day and in exellent condition. It is fantastic. More beautiful than I expected. It fits perfectly (size and colour).I love it!!! I cant take my eyes from it!!! Thank you CarpetVista. I am sure that I will buy from you again.

My carpet arrived on the expected date. The tracking system is really helpful. It is lovely and I am very pleased with it. The only negative is that I expected it to be rolled while in transit rather than folded. Because of this it looks a little stretched in places. Will the carpet lose these stretched areas and even out with use?

The carpet was only fold when in transit. You can try and place some heavy books on the folds and they will disappear with use.

i bought a red carpet last year, mashad, and i gave it for dry clean.??they return my carpet pink!??all the carpet had a colour pinl, the red colour had run to all the other colours.??the factory that i gave the carpet for dry cleaning, told me that the carpet was from turckish wool and it is the cheapest wool, thats why the colour run.??what am i gonna to do? is it tru that the mashad croet from iran it is really from turky?

First and foremost handmade carpets should NEVER be dry cleaned and should only be washed by a person who is specialised in cleaning Perisian and Oriental carpets. These type of carpets have to be washed in a special way as they are made from natural materials and dyes. The carpet you bought is a genuine handmade Mashad carpet and we also sent you a certificate of authenticity indicating the material used in the manufacture and the origin of the carpet.
