I find that the signature on nain Sherkat Farsh seems the same as the habibian.??is it my mistake or is it normal??thanks??df

Concerning the carpet LA37, what is the horizontal line going through the carpet from left to right, through the middle: is it due to the way the picture has been taken, or is it a default in the carpet???thanks??df

Reply from CarpetVista : Hi Faucher, The horizontal line on the carpet is not a defect, but is as a result of the carpet pile (which is made of silk) facing the opposite direction thereby making it look darker.

What does the figure "40", "50" or "60" mean when related to a Tabriz carpet???For example your product R-659342 is a Tabriz 50 Raj with Silk;(you have a tabriz 40 in store, and I have seen a Tabriz 60 in a shop).????thanks????df

Reply from CarpetVista : Thank you for your post. In Tabriz carpets Raj is used to describe the knot density of the carpet. A Tabriz carpet with 50 Raj simply means that the carpet has a knot density of around 500,000-600,000 knots per m2. One with 40 Raj would have a knot density of around 300,00-400,000 knots per m2 and a Tabriz 60 which is very exclusive has the highest knot density of between 600,000-700,000 knots per m2.

This was my first attempt on buying carpets inline. If I purchase a carpet for shipment to latin america, would it be possible for a relative to go check th ecarpet before shipment? The return policy is excellent, however shipment and taxes will be paid upon arrival.

I want to sell them to a private person or to you, if you are interested. I installed an online-webalbum with pictures of all carpets. They are stored in Frankfurt and I want to sell them as a package-deal, that is all carpets for one price. There are Nain, Kelim, Bakhtiyari, Kashan, Ghom, Yalame, Sarough, Isfahan, Bidjar and so on. Hej Carpet-Vista-Team,????first of all let me compliment you for the ultra-quick delivery of my three rugs - two days from Malmö to a small town in Southern Germany can hardly be topped. Your prompt confirmation-mail and he possibility to track the UPS handling of the merchandise all along the way - a really smooth and relaxed transaction. ????Secondly as I'm well aware of the fact how hard it is to take realistic pictures of carpet-colours, I was pleasantly surprised, that the photographs on your website (very userfriendly, clearly laid out, easy to navigate) come as close to reality as one may get. ????Regrettaby I have to mention a downside too: In your own definition and according to general acceptance a KELIM is a "flat-weave". So I think that it would be a MUST to point out in your descriptions that the main patterns in my carpets are not woven but stitched (with yarn a bit too thick to meet, at least my definition of "KELIM FINE"). Also, even given the high quality of your photos, it's not in evidence, that all three rugs have stripes of pile applied, which, in my opinion, is unusual enough for a kelim to be mentioned. ????Dont't let me be misunderstood - all the rugs are nice, likeable pieces, the value for money is okay - still they are not really what I expected according to your descriptions. This "slight disappointment" could easily be avoided for future customers....... Kind regards, Robert

We do have a 30 days purchase on approval and if you are not satisfied with your purchase you can always return the carpet within those days. The photos of our carpets are taken professionally with a high resolution digital camera. The photos of the carpets are therefore, as close to reality as the real carpets. If you have any particular question on a carpet you can always call or send us an email and we will gladly help you.

A silly problem : As Flash Player and Vista kept conflicting, I have updated Flash Player to latest version (9.0.115) - as recommended by Vista.
Problem is, I can't watch your videos ny longer; it just read "Down load Flash Player"....
Any idea ? I don't have any problem with that on other sites so far...
