I am interested in the following data:
- where can I order good and reasonably-priced software to develop my own web-page about carpets;
- what hand made carpets inventory software you could suggest;
- are there any experts providing services via internet on used rugs apprisal by detailed photo images, is it costly per item?

Reply from CarpetVista : Dear Sergey. For developing webpages we recommend Macromedia Dreamweaver and a LAMP server solution. We have searched the market for carpet-software but have not found anything good enough. That is the reason why we decided to create our own software. We do not know about any online carpet expert service.

Hello,
I placed my order on 18/12 by mid night. On 19/12 I received a confirmation with the UPS tracking number and on 22/12 I received my carpet in good conditions. Wonderful logistics!
One regret, however: your site does not accept e-cartebleue, a system that generates a unique Visa card number for each purchase order by Societe Generale, that is more secure for online payment. Hope that you will accept it in the future (please contact Societe Generale in France).

Dear Carpetvista, thank you for your service. The rug arrived in good condition after three days, carefully packed in a plastic bag.
The colour's and contrast of the rug are better than expected, but that is of course dependent on computer screen calibration.

Hello, My carpet arrived this afternoon and is really beautiful, the colours are much brighter and luminous even nicer than the photos. I am really very satisfied not only with the carpet but with the way it arrived, a day earlier.

Made my first order a couple of weeks ago, thinking that it was quite a risky move to buy a carpet on the web. Well, risk apparently pays... The carpet is exactly as described and pictured. E-mail communication was excellent and delivery thunderfast. Definitely a trustworthy on-line seller. If you like a carpet on the site, don't hesitate a second!

Hi,

I have just received my nain carpet which looks fine but when I have read the certificate coming with the carpet, I was surprised to notice that there is not mention about the material used for it : in my case pure wool and coton. Could you tell me why this information is missing. The price paid is correct only if I am sure the carpet is 100% natural wool and not synthetic.

Reply from CarpetVista : Hello Jerome! We guarantee that all our carpets are made with natural materials. Synthetic materials are often expensive in many countries and therefore it is much more convenient to use natural materials such as wool, cotton and silk. You can also feel the difference since wool is much softer than synthetic materials. It is also possible to check the material with a match - if it is wool it burns and if it is synthetic it shrinks together.

Tribal Kelardasht rugs were exactly as described, perhaps a little bit more burgundy as in my screen. Geometrical motifs and primitive figures make a homely atmosphere - very satisfied. Now looking after Luri of Bakhtyari.

The carpet I ordered is even lovelier than I hoped for - so much so, that I am now awaiting the delivery of a second one to keep the first company. I was just wondering what you recommend as the best way of looking after these rugs as I want it to stay looking good for as long as possible. Does one vacuum in the normal way?

Reply from CarpetVista : Dear Nicole. The best way to take care of a carpet is to vacuum it in the direction of the pile once a week. Depending on how much it is used you should get it cleaned at a professional carpet cleaner every 2 to 6 years.

First, thanks a lot for your service. My order (DC42) was executed smoothly and deliverd quickly. I am your happy customer ;-). I have just a small suggestion. Even at the time of purchase I was aware of the fact that colors of the carpet you have on display will not match the reality (as those rugs you describe as "red" look on various monitors I am using as "orange-brownish" but I never saw such colors on Persian rugs). It would help a lot to your potential customers if you included also images taken without flash, just by plain daylight (as seen for example on samples taken to show details of knots). The colors would then match reality way more.
