A lovely evening in Greenland - sailing in my small boat: this is what you see: the many colours of the sea and sky,the sea gulls, the floating ice bergs reflecting in the water; so beautiful that you are happy just to be alive.

Når jeg sejler i mine lille båd i Grønland er dette hvad jeg ser: de mange farver på himlen og havet, isfjeldene, der spejler sig i vandet, mågerne,der kredser over mig - så vidunderligt smukt, så jeg er lykkelig over at være i live og opleve det.

I am Danish but I have lived in Greenland for a great part of my life. And it is here in the magnificent nature of Greenland I find the inspiration for my paintings: The many colours of the sky, the sea and the ice and the many fantastic shapes and colours you see in the rocks and mountain sides. I primarily paint water colours and oil.

Jeg er dansker men har boet en stor del af mit liv i Grønland,og det er her i den grønlandske natur jeg finder inspiration til mine billeder: de mange stærke farver i himlen, isen og havet og de mange fantastiske former og farver i fjeldsider og klipper. Jeg maler først og fremmest akvarel og olie.
